The mysteriousness of the monsters was actually intentional. The idea was to have players encounter unfamiliar enemies and panic not knowing what to do, only to have to check the Omnibus afterward (which will tell you how to defeat an enemy once you've seen it at least once.)

The game is very good!deserves to move to newgrounds, but I would slow down the gameplay and increase the size of the platforms
